Welcome to the Copenhagen Crocodiles

A Danish Australian Rules Football Club Web site

Go Crocs!!!

The Copenhagen Crocodiles are one of the founding clubs of the Danish Australian Football League (DAFL).  We have dominated this league since 1991 and most believe we will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.  The Crocodiles are the centre of Australian Football in Copenhagen city, and with a central training location and enthusiastic member base there is no better place to experience what Aussie Rules is all about in this great capital.

The Crocodiles pride themselves on being a socially spirited club with open training sessions and a healthy appreciation for all the extracurricular activities available in Denmark's capital.

So whether your footy ambitions in Denmark consist of just having a kick and a beer with a bunch of lads, bagging 10 and leading the team to glory or simply running around a park surrounded by saucy Scandinavian blondes - look no further than the mighty Copenhagen Crocodiles.

NEW PLAYERS can make contact by mailing this email or by simply showing up for a kick at training or to a game.

For more information on Aussie Rules please check out the Footy History & Footy Rules pages.

2009 Season Over

Crocs ended up on the 4th place

After barely making the finals, the Crocs played the semi-finals against the North Copenhagen Barracudas on the 5th of September 2009. Harsh weather conditions and a lineup of only 16 players proved too big a challenge for the mighty crocs who despite playing 14 against 16 half the game due to injuries put up a remarkable fight and even won two quaters. In the end, the Cudas took the win that day and are off to the finals.

This concludes the 2009 season for the Crocodiles. See you all next season.

What is this game about?

Not many Danes are familiar with the game of Australian Rules Football or 'Aussie Rules' as the majority calls it. If you belong to this group and would like to know more about the sport, then feel free to check out the rules of the game or watch pictures from some of our matches. If any of this should encourage you to try this great game out, just pub by training and feel free to bring your friends. We are always looking for new players.
