History of the Crocs

1999

This season would prove to be a bit different from the previous year. Scott Properzi still hung on as President, with lots of help from Scott Allen and Alistair Williams. As reigning champions, the Crocs were a coveted target and all clubs were doing their best to beat us. That happened three times in the regular season of 1999, once to Aalborg and twice to Farum. The player most mentioned it the Crocs lineup this year was without a doubt Ashley Davie, who since his debut in DAFL in 1998 has been a controversial person. Nothing was improved when Ashley decided to kick a record eight goals in the Grand Final. The Grand Final was against the Cudas who appeared in their first Grand Final since winning the flag in the first Grand Final in 1991. The game itself was a brilliant footy game, which was won by one quarter of exceptional play. The Crocodile veteran Aaron Ravenarki was awarded the Best on Ground medal after the game.

Pick One of the following years for more information about the piticular season.
